What are they and what are the fire doors for?

What are fire gates and how do they work?
Fire gates are also used for fencing passageways between fire zones, with the difference that they are mainly used in industrial facilities, warehouses and production halls. In addition, fire gates are used on technical floors of various facilities, in storage rooms, hospitals and other facilities with large spaces that require fire protection.

Single and multi-leaf sliding and sliding gates are not limited in size.

The specificity of fire protection and the technical conditions that must be met by elements of this protection are regulated by three legal documents. The first of them is the Construction Law Act, which specifies that construction works must be designed and built in accordance with current knowledge and maintaining fire safety.
The second document that specifies these conditions is the Regulation of the Minister of Infrastructure of April 12, 2002, as amended, which regulates the technical conditions of buildings and their location. This document precisely defines the fire safety of building structures, the specificity of fire zones and escape routes.
The last key legal provision is the Regulation of the Minister of the Interior of June 7, 2010, as amended, which determines the fire protection of buildings in accordance with EU standards and regulations.
